Terms and Conditions
· Gymnastics fees are charged every 6 weeks through our booking provider Class4Kids or brought into the gym on the last session of the current block attending. If a gymnast joins the club after the start of the block, proportional payment for the remainder of that block will be applied.
· It is a requirement for every gymnast to hold British Gymnastics Insurance to participate at Monkton Gymnastics Club. The insurance requires an annual non- refundable payment that needs to be paid in full at the time of booking. This is renewed every year and paid directly to British gymnastics. Those who do not hold a valid BG membership, will not be able to attend training sessions.
· Monkton Gymnastics Club do not authorise any refunds, make-up sessions or additional classes if the gymnast is absent/ill etc. MGC operates a 3-strike system, if gymnastics fees are late more than 3 times, we hold the right to cancel your space and offer it to the next person on the waiting list.
· Parents are not allowed in the gym during class / training session unless invited or in an event of and an emergency. No unauthorised personnel will be allowed in the training area. Please drop off & collect your child promptly from their gymnastics class/training session.
· Monkton Gymnastics Club does not accept responsibility or liability for lost/stolen items within our facility, so please ensure you are careful with your valuables. We do have a lost property box, should you require this.
· All hair must be tied back neatly prior to the class starting, all jewellery must be removed prior to class, Following the British Gymnastics regulations all jewellery should be removed prior to the class. All gymnasts should wear clean clothing that allows freedom of movement. We recommend leotards, shorts/leggings and fitted t- shirts.
· Coaches retain the rights to sit a gymnast out of class if he/she does not follow the club’s rules and safety regulations.
· Gymnasts with any medical/Behaviour requirements MUST inform their coaches of the requirements. Any medication must be in a sealed, named bag where it can be easily accessible.
· All gymnasts must go to the toilet before their class starts. Should the gymnast require to use the toilet in the class, they should inform their coach.
· Monkton Gymnastics Club follows strict anti-discriminatory policies. Everyone in the club will receive equal treatment. We aim to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment where bullying will not be tolerated. Should this ever affect an individual/s, MGC will seek further action to remove this behaviour. · Photography – Staff will occasionally take photos/videos of the gymnasts for advertising purposes. These will go on social media so if you prefer your child not to be part of this. Let us know at the time of booking.
